BIO
Sergio Llopis is an award-winning composer, orchestrator, and musician from Palma de Mallorca, Spain, whose music combines emotional storytelling with rich, cinematic sound worlds. A recipient of the European Exhibition Award from Trinity College London, Sergio trained in Popular Music & Recording at the University of Salford (Manchester) and earned a Master’s in Orchestration for Film, TV, and Videogames at the University of Chichester. His credits span film, television, videogames, and advertising, with clients including Spotify, the Rafa Nadal Foundation, and IB3. His music has been performed by orchestras in Mallorca and recorded by the renowned Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.
Recent highlights include orchestrating and contributing additional music for the feature film Verona, scoring the documentary Altea: La Casa de la Mar for TVE (La 2), and composing original scores for Fiona (dir. Rafa Cortés), Ben, La Carga, and the series Terenci: La Fabulación Infinita. Praised by Emmy and Golden Globe-winning composer Christopher Young as “Spain’s next great film composer,” Sergio blends classical depth, modern production, and an instinct for emotional impact. Whether working with full orchestra or intimate textures, he crafts memorable, story-driven scores that elevate every project — making him a powerful creative partner for any director or production seeking distinctive, world-class music.
